Australia’s big international motor shows may be dead and gone (or merely on hiatus), but the smaller enthusiast and community events are still going strong.

This past weekend saw Perth’s motoring fans come out for the 2014 ’Celebration of the Motorcar’ event, showcasing classic, exotic and prestige cars.

Organisers say the event’s capacity of 130 cars was quickly filled, with owners and collectors showing off specials that included two Giocattolo V8 supercars, a Lamborghini Countach, a 1935 Le Mans-winning Riley Sprite TT and a freshly restored V16 Cadillac 2-Passenger Coupe.
