Is it really a 'teaser' image when it's released years before the fact? Infiniti seems to think so because here it is: the 2015 Infiniti electric luxury sedan teaser sketch, complete with go-faster blurring and artificial shutter-speed delay.

2015? Crikey, you don't suppose there will be any changes before then... like, the design won't change much; we can trust this is the design for 'the actual car' being teased and not just a bit of a sketch someone banged off between chai lattes? (Didn't think so, locked in; solid as Gibraltar.)

News from Frankfurt is that Nissan's luxury arm Infiniti is planning its own luxury version of Nissan's LEAF all-electric vehicle. After all, what's the point of having a luxury arm if you don't have all the toys.

Speaking at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Infiniti's senior vice-president Shiro Nakamura has confirmed that Infiniti is planning a compact all-electric five-seat sedan with a bold new design (check teaser sketch, yes, there it is: very bold) and that it will arrive in 2014.

Good, we'll consider ourselves teased then.
