BMW has brought its i styling to the two-wheeled world, revealing a new electrified scooter ahead of this week's Frankfurt Motor Show.

The unveiling of the new Motorrad Concept e follows the debut of the rollbar-rockin' C1-E Concept and the similarly futuristic Concept C, revealed late last year.

Spurred by the debut of the i3 EV and the i8 plug-in hybrid, the Concept E represents the fruit of a new Urban Mobility division at BMW Motorrad, the company's motorcycle arm.

Figures for the Concept E's electric powertrain have not been revealed, but more details should follow the scooter's unveiling at Frankfurt tomorrow.
