Former Ford Boss Alan Mulally Takes Board Position With Google

Former Ford CEO Alan Mulally is the newest board member for tech giant Google, after formally leaving his post at the US carmaker on July 1.

The ‘Mulally files’ saw the CEO linked with Microsoft and Google during 2012 and 2013, only for Mulally to reportedly announce he would see out 2014 in the top chair at Ford.

By mid-year it was clear that Mulally would be moving elsewhere, and Ford announced executive Mark Fields would take over the top job.
