Ford Focus RS ‘Ford Performance By Mountune’ Power-up Released For US and UK

In case you find the the maximum-attack 257kW and 470Nm (on overboost) Ford Focus RS too calm, tuning specialist Mountune has released its Ford Performance by Mountune (FPM) kit.

As the name suggests, the upgrade has been co-developed in conjunction with Ford Performance and consists of a high-flow air filter, upgraded charge pipe kit, an upgraded air-recirculation valve, a remapped ECU, and an FPM badge.

Peak outputs climb to 276kW and 510Nm - an extra 19kW and 40Nm compared to the factory tune, and Mountune claims the 0-100km/h sprint drops to 4.5 seconds, or 0.2 seconds quicker than Ford Australia’s claim for the unfettled RS.
