Ford F-Series Pickups Approved For Performax Production In Australia

The Ford Super Duty F-250 Pickup will soon be available in unrestricted volumes to Australian customers again, but it won’t be Ford Australia reintroducing them to local roads.

Queensland-based Performax International has just received Australian Design Rule (ADR) approval to not only sell the popular American pickup, but to build them in Australia as well.

In the words of Performax; “Australia has a new fully-accredited car manufacturer”.

With full ADR approval, Performax is free to sell as many F-250s as it can find customers for, without the volume restrictions placed on Specialist and Enthusiast Vehicle Schemes (SEVS).
