Fiat Toro Pickup Teased Ahead Of 2016 Debut

Fiat has released a single teaser image for its upcoming pickup model, the Toro.

Set to debut in Latin America early next year, the Toro is the first utility since the Strada for the Italian carmaker. Whereas the first Fiat-Brazil Strada was based on the small Palio, Toro will be a new hat on the Mitsubishi Triton.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Fiat considered a Jeep Cherokee-based pickup but ultimately rejected the idea in favour of the Triton.

In a brief statement, Fiat described its new model as a “SUP” - Sport Utility Pickup - declaring it will offer the best of both the pickup and SUV segment.
