Lamborghini's Aventador is not the only supercar to come in for a 2013 tweak, with Ferrari's FF oddity picking up its own light update this week.

Revealed at this week's Paris Motor Show, buyers of the practicality-focused FF now have the option of a panoramic glass roof.

Replacing the entire roof panel, the screen is made from low-emissivity glass, insulating the interior from outside radiant heat while allowing visible light through.

Ferrari's Australian distributor Ateco says the glass roof will be available to order in the new year.

The FF is otherwise unchanged for 2013, with power for the all-paw Fezza provided by a new front-mounted 6.3 litre V12 engine.

Output is rated at 485kW at 8000rpm, and torque at 683Nm at 6000rpm.

Combined with the new 4RM all-wheel-drive system and an F1-style dual-clutch transmission, Ferrari says the FF will hit 100km/h in 3.7 seconds.
