Unlike the Disco Volante and its 8C donor platform, the Berlinetta Lusso shares a little more in common with the look of the F12 it’s based on.
Retaining the headlights and general profile of the F12, Touring Superleggera has transformed the top-shelf Ferrari into a more classically-styled grand tourer.
But, while the Disco Volante was confirmed for production back in 2013, the equally retro-tastic ‘Berlinetta Lusso’ remains a concept only… for now.
Revealing its latest creation at this month’s Geneva Motor Show, Touring Superleggera confirmed that if it receives enough interest in the Berlinetta Lusso, a small number of examples could be put into production.
Mechanical details are still to be revealed, but it’s likely the Lusso draws power from the same 544kW 6.3 litre V12 that powers the F12. If so, expect a 0-100km/h time of around 3.0 seconds.
Stay tuned for news on the Lusso’s production future.
