A new teaser video for the upcoming new Fast & Furious film, ‘Furious 7’, invites fans to take a drive down memory lane.

This new clip, dubbed ‘The Road to Furious 7’, is released today ahead of a November 1 debut of the first full trailer for the seventh instalment in the car-chase film franchise.

As the title suggests, there’s little in the way of new content with this teaser, which focuses instead on key scenes from the previous six films.

In fact, you could say it’s a… crash course… in the Fast & Furious franchise. (Oh Mike… - Ed.)

The new film will be the first since the death of star Paul Walker (‘Brian O’Conner’), whose previously filmed scenes will be mixed with footage of actors that will have Walker’s face superimposed in place of theirs.

Details of the coming film’s plot have not been revealed, although scenes in Fast & Furious 6 reveal that the story will follow events in the third film, 2006’s Tokyo Drift.

British action hero Jason Statham will enter as the series’ latest villain Ian Shaw, who seeks vengeance for his brother Owen's death.

Furious 7 hits cinemas in April 2015.

Stay tuned for the first proper Furious 7 trailer later this week.
