F1: Mark Webber Leaving Formula One For Porsche Le Mans Project

Australian Formula One driver Mark Webber has announced he will depart Formula One at the end of the 2013 season.

The Red Bull driver confirmed what many had been guessing for months, saying he has accepted a multi-year deal with Porsche.

Thirty-six year old Webber will pilot Porsche’s new LMP1 sports prototype at the Le Mans 24 Hour race along with the sports car World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2014 and beyond.
