Euro NCAP: 5 Stars For Mazda3 And Peugeot 308, But i3 And EcoSport Miss

A new round of safety tests in Europe this week has seen top 5-Star safety scores handed down to Mazda's new 3 hatch, along with Peugeot's new 308 hatch, and the Maserati Ghibli sedan. 

Top scores were also awarded to Mitsubishi's incoming Outlander plug-in hybrid, and Maserati's brand-new Ghibli sedan.

The results were less impressive for Ford and BMW however, with the new i3 electric vehicle and EcoSport compact SUV achieving only 4-Star ratings.
