Low-range speeding will be a focus for police throughout Australia over the Easter long weekend, targeting drivers travelling between 5-10km/h over the limit.

An advertising campaign highlighting the risks of low-range speeding hit the airwaves last night to kick off the road safety campaign, backed by the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety – Queensland (CARRS-Q).

CARRS-Q’s Professor Barry Watson will appear in the commercials, comparing potential outcomes for cars travelling at 60km/h and 67km/h.
