A group of university students in the Netherlands have broken the 0-100km/h world record for an electric car. Their blistering time of 2.15 seconds has easily beaten the old mark of 2.68 seconds, and also bettered the 0-100km/h time of 2.3 seconds set
A group of university students in the Netherlands have broken the 0-100km/h world record for an electric car.
Their blistering time of 2.15 seconds has easily beaten the old mark of 2.68 seconds, and also bettered the 0-100km/h time of 2.3 seconds set by the ultra-fast Ariel Atom V8.
Manager for the Delft University of Technology racing team, Tim de Moree, said that the result even surpassed the team’s expectations.
