A pair of models from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has been recalled this week, due to a potential problem with the airbag system.

The first is the Dodge Journey SUV from the 2008 model-year, while the second is Chrysler’s Grand Voyager people-mover stretching from 2008-2009.

The problem stems from the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC), which may malfunction due to corrosion of the power supply integrated circuit.

Should this occur, FCA says the airbag warning lamp may be triggered, and the airbag may not deploy when required during a collisions.
