Renault-Nissan Alliance’s reborn Datsun brand for emerging markets has expanded its ‘GO’ range once again with the unveiling of a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The latest is a compact SUV called the GO-Cross, which will no doubt preview a production version for customers in Russia, India, Africa and more (the plan is to expand into yet more new markets).
Datsun isn’t quite committing to a production schedule for the GO-Cross just yet, however, saying instead that the concept is designed to test the potential for such a model should the carmaker choose to build it.
A relatively short story for Datsun since the brand was revived already includes the GO, GO+ and Redi-GO in the GO family, now joined by the GO-Cross.
