Daniel Ricciardo Confirmed For Perth Speed Fest

Australian Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo is heading home to Western Australia later this year, but the F1 ace won’t simply be putting his feet up over the European winter.

Ricciardo has been confirmed as one of the star attractions at the Perth Speed Fest, and he’s bringing a Red Bull RB7 World Championship-winning F1 car with him.

The Red Bull, with Ricciardo at the wheel, will line up against a selection of drag cars in what organisers have dubbed “the ultimate test of speed”.

“There’s nothing in Australia quite like it,” Perth Speed Fest Event Producer, Emma Stenhouse, said.

“To see our local hero Daniel Ricciardo in an F1 car racing in Perth, as well as racing and demonstrations of motorcross, rallying, bikes, drags, and V8s alongside a huge showcase of historic, classic and majestic cars will be exciting.”
