Not one of the world’s more headline-grabbing motor shows, the Indonesian Auto Show none-the-less gives some ‘outsider’ carmakers the chance to display their wares without being overwhelmed by the latest supercar or worldwide best-selling model.

One such carmaker is Daihatsu - whose days in Australia have tragically come to an end but a carmaker going from strength to strength in overseas markets.

For 2017, Daihatsu will debut the DN Multisix and the DN F-Sedan concepts in Indonesia, and the company has provided just one image of each ahead of the unveiling.

While finer details are scarce, the concepts show a change in direction for Daihatsu style-wise.

The DN F-Sedan takes on something of a four-door coupe shape, although more likely a sedan with a liftback rear end.
