Citroen's upmarket DS line-up has added a third new model for Australia this week, with the local launch of the sleek DS5 wagon.
Priced at $47,990, the DS5 is available in just one petrol-powered specification and one high-grade trim - for now, at least.
Sharing its platform with Peugeot's high-riding 3008, the DS5 measures 4.52m long and 1.85m wide, placing it directly between Citroen's new C4 and the ageing C5 large sedan.
Internationally, the DS5 can be had with a range of petrol and diesel engines, along with Peugeot Citroen's Hybrid4 diesel-electric system.
In Australia, engine options are limited to the familiar 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine, producing 115kW and 240Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission (the only option), and fuel consumption is listed at 7.3 l/100km.
