Citroen C4 and DS4 Recalled For Bonnet Striker Issue

Citroen’s Australian distributor has issued a recall for both the C4 hatch and related DS4 relating to a potential fault with the bonnet catch mechanism.

As a result of corrosion the bonnet striker may not function as designed, which could lead to the bonnet releasing without warning. The potential exists for the bonnet to fly open at speed increasing the risk of an accident.
