Chrysler has recalled its 2015 and 2016 300 models due to a potential problem with the daytime running lights (DRLs).
The carmaker says that activating the 300’s turn signals can cause the DRLs to switch off, resulting in “non-compliance with certain homologation requirements”.
DRLs are designed to improve vehicle visibility during the daylight hours, and although non-functioning DRLs only result in the 300 being as visible as every other car on the road without DRLs, Chrysler is looking to rectify the problem.
At this stage, only SRT variants with the 350kW 6.4 litre Hemi V8 engine are affected.
