North America's aftermarket extravaganza, SEMA kicked off this week and joining the range of aftermarket add-on accessories and wild promotional showcars, Chevrolet bought its own special-build concepts along.

The first, the Chevrolet Trax Activ takes Chevrolet’s updated 2017 Trax (which will be arriving in Australia as the Holden Trax soon) and takes it from soft-roader to bush-basher.

There’s all wheel drive capability, raised suspension, a wider track, improved approach and departure angles, a rooftop carry rack, and a set of all-terrain tyres wrapped around a set of 18-inch wheels, enclosed by a set of custom wheel arch flares.
