C-Class Petrol Four-Cylinder Models Get Start/Stop Technology
Mercedes-Benz Australia has announced the inclusion of Start/Stop technology to its C-Class four-cylinder petrol range.

A side benefit is that the C-Class petrol four-cylinder cars (Sedan and Estate) now qualify under the “Fuel Efficient” LCT threshold of $75,375.
“With the introduction of Start/Stop engine technology to our four-cylinder petrol C-Class Sedan and Estate we are delivering an efficiency dividend to our customers as these models now qualify under the 'Fuel Efficient' LCT threshold of $75,375," Mr Horst von Sanden, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz cars said.
Mercedes-Benz will be passing on the benefits of the reduced LCT (Luxury Car Tax) to its customers.
In the case of the C200 BlueEFFICIENCY Sedan and Estate this is a reduction of $300 in the MRLP and a $2300 reduction for the C250 BlueEFFICIENCY Sedan and Estate.
