BMW To Offer V12-Powered 7-Series In 2017 Photo:

BMW has given its 7-Series the M-treatment with a new V12-powered flagship offering.

The BMW M760Li will be priced from $419,000 plus on-road costs when it goes on sale in the second quarter of 2017.

It is powered by a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 which produces 448kW and 800Nm and is capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

It is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox which is coupled with the German car makers xDrive all-wheel drive system.

Riding on big 20-inch grey alloy wheels with M-Sport brake calipers it also sports an M aerodynamic package that adds further on-road presence. Exterior design tweaks include grey colour highlights on the grille, front apron strip, mirror caps, exterior door handles, air breathers, side door trims, boot lid strip and exhaust pipes. It also sports V12 badging on the c-pillar and the M and xDrive logo on the rear.

A luxurious interior is highlighted by leather upholstery, front seats with electric adjustment and memory functions that also have heating, cooling and massage functions. The interior also features leather trimming throughout as well as a sporty M steering wheel and Alcantara headliner.

The rear seats also feature heating, cooling and massage function and are also equipped with two entertainment screens with separate DVD players.

As befitting a range-topping luxury offering, the M760Li comes with a long list of standard equipment which includes top-shelf navigation, 16-speaker Bowers & Wilkins stereo, wireless phone charging, Bluetooth, rear view camera, parking assistant, surround view camera, remote parking, panoramic sunroof and BMW's ConnectedDrive system among others.
