BMW Sends Last Z4 ‘Down The Line’ – Z5 Near?

Without any fanfare, BMW has reportedly sent the last of its current generation Z4 roadsters down the line at its Regensburg, Germany factory.

The end of production of the current Z4, which wears E89 chassis designation, also means the last car to be fitted with BMW’s twin turbocharged N54 six-cylinder engine, which has been replaced with both the twin-scroll  N55, and later B58 engines in the rest of the BMW range.
