BMW Australia is offering free servicing on all new BMWs bought and delivered during September and October.
The offer is for the three-year/60,000km BMW Service Inclusive (BSI) Plus package, which usually costs $3,171. As the name suggests, Plus is a more comprehensive service than the basic BSI.
BSI Plus covers scheduled service items such as oil changes, brake pads and discs, clutches and the associated labour costs.
BMW said the offer is a response to customers considering "whole-of-life" costs when buying a new 'Bimmer'.
BMW cars feature condition-based servicing where there are no set service intervals - instead, various sensors detect when the vehicle need attention.
BSI Plus covers those condition-based events for the set period. BSI is like capped-price servicing but is paid up-front at the time of purchase.
“We understand that a premium purchase is an emotional decision but we are also making sure that owning a BMW stacks up from a rational point of view,” BMW Australia MD Phil Horton said.
“With BMW's EfficientDynamics philosophy and technologies, we are the leaders in the reduction of fuel consumption and emissions which also means exceptionally low running costs at the pump on a daily basis."
The free BSI Plus offer is available on BMWs bought between September 1 and October 31.
