BMW Australia has announced availability of an expanded M Sport package, dubbed simply M Sport Plus.

Available for the Coupe and Convertible versions of the 'old' 1 Series and 3 Series (neither of the new versions have debuted in Coupe or Convertible form yet), the enhanced kit brings a number of styling additions to the regular M Sport deal.

The usual tricks include the stiffer M Sport suspension package, along with M versions of exterior aero kit and leather steering wheel, BMW Individual High Gloss shadow line and - for the Coupe variants - an anthracite coloured roof liner.

The Plus add-on includes 18-inch M alloy wheels in a Ferric Grey finish, door sill finishers and chrome-plated "edition" badging, and Royal Blue contrast stitching in the cabin if you choose the Dakota leather black trim and blue leather piping.

The 1 Series Coupe and Convertible version adds an Aluminium Glacier Silver trim to the interior, gloss black grille, blackline rear lights, and the addition of Vermillion Red and Carbon Black to the colour palette.

In 3 Series form, the Coupe and Convertible versions get Aluminium Silver Dark highlights in the cabin, chrome grille, sports seats, stainless-steel pedals and black exterior mirror caps. Metallic paint is also included in the price.
