BMW i8 Spyder Ready To Become A Production Reality

The covers first came off BMW’s i8 Spyder concept at the Beijing Auto Show in 2012, and while the coupe has since become a production reality in that time, the Spyder has been patiently waiting in the wings.

That might soon be about to change, with BMW CEO Harald Krüger confirming the arrival of a production i8 Spyder soon with German business newspaper, Handelsblatt.
