BMW Active Tourer Outdoor Concept: Le Tour’s Next Team Van?

BMW has unveiled its new Active Tourer Outdoor concept, but if you were thinking of a ruggedised high-riding version of the earlier Active Tourer (we were - Ed), you've got another think coming. 

No, this 'new' concept is all about interior utility, showcasing the new hatch's capacity for carrying a sizeable load. And, being a concept, this one also comes with integrated support arms for a couple of treadlies. 

Little else about the Active Tourer Outdoor is new, and BMW has foregone the usual tweaks that come with the 'weekender' theme. There's no hard plastic guards, no jacked-up suspension and no (well, not much) hard-wearing interior trim.
