The coupe's package brings an even more aggressive look to the pack, straddling the line between M Performance and full-blown M car.
The 4 M Performance pack adds a new front bumper with a carbon splitter and broad intakes, along with new skirts, lip spoiler and a new rear bumper.
There's also a blacked-out grille and M Performance graphic pack, and the whole lot sits on lightweight 20-inch multispoke wheels.
In the cabin, there's a new three-spoke steering wheel with integrated race display, sports seats and a host of carbon fibre trim treatments.
There's also the usual array of handling and power tweaks, with output improvements applied to three of the four engines available with the 4 Series.
The 420d gets power boosted to 145kW and 418Nm, the 428i is up to 200kW and 389Nm, and the top-shelf 435i gets kicked up to 260kW and 450Nm. The gains are courtesy of ECU tuning and new exhaust systems.
The 4 Series is expected to debut in Australia later this year, and the M Performance models shouldn't be far behind.
