The wagonised version of BMW's new M Performance-enhanced 3 Series will make its debut at December's Essen Motor Show, the carmaker has confirmed.
Like the sedan, revealed in M Performance trim back in February, the enhanced diesel-powered 320d Touring model will pick up a range of styling, handling and performance upgrades.
Available in Europe from next April, the kit will give the 2.0 litre turbodiesel model a power boost from 135kW/379Nm to 147kW/420Nm, thanks to revised ECU tuning and a larger intercooler.
Styling tweaks will see the addition of 20-inch wheels and a sharper body kit, while the interior will pick up the requisite sports steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, carbon fibre highlights and Alcantara trim accents.
There's also sports-tuned suspension bits and a larger brake package.
Australia
Speaking with TMR recently, BMW’s Scott Croaker confirmed that the ‘20d’ M Performance Power Kit will be made available for local 1, 3, and 5 Series models subject to ADR compliance.
It's no sure thing, however. ADR compliance will also define local availability of other new M Performance accessories.
Overseas M exhaust options have already been ruled out, due to Australia's strict drive-by noise requirements.
