Bentley will return to the track next year with a new GT3 racer, based on the big Continental GT Speed prestige coupe.
Marking the brand's first factory-backed track foray since taking its last title at Le Mans in 2003, the new monster is in development right now.
For now though, Bentley has rolled out a preview of what we can expect, wrapping its giant coupe in full race kit.
"The clear message from our customers is that Bentley belongs on the racetrack, and the Continental GT3 is the realisation of a dream we’ve had ever since the launch of the Continental GT," Bentley boss Wolfgang Schreiber said.
Schreiber added that the Continental GT is the perfect model for the company to transform into a race car (and the only suitable one - Ed), but has so far remained tight-lipped on the technical details.
The Continental GT range was recently boosted by the addition of a new GT Speed model, boosting the big W12 engine's output from 430 to 460kW.
The new GT3 will make its race debut toward the end of next year.
