Australian Road Safety Groups Look To The Future On Pedestrian Safety

Three of Australia’s leading road safety organisations joined together yesterday to conduct a demonstration of pedestrian safety technology in Adelaide.

University of Adelaide’s Centre for Automotive Safety Research (CASR), the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) and the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) all took part in the demonstration.

The event was designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of new technologies in warning motorists of potential collisions, and intervening to prevent an accident.
