An extra-premium 'Exclusive Concept' version of Audi's new SQ5 TDI is on its way to the European market, where it will sell for a fat €92,000 (AU$113,000).

That number might not seem extraordinary for an S-badged model in the Australian market, but the mark-up is almost 60 percent on the standard SQ5 due to hit Europe next year.

The Concept edition is powered by the same 3.0 litre twin turbo V6 diesel, delivering a stout 230kW and a stump-splitting 650Nm of torque. So where have all those extra Euros gone?

The steering wheel, gear lever gaiter, centre armrest and dashboard cover are now wrapped in fine Nappa leather, with contrasting stitching in snow white.

The seats are also covered in the same leather and with the same stitching, but the centre sections of the seats are covered in woven leather, something that Audi claims as a production first.

The headlining is Alcantara while the sunroof blind and inlays are snow white. (Best you keep a spare pair of sunglasses for the interior, then.)

The upgrades are rounded out by wood inlays finished in natural grain ash, along with Audi Exclusive badges on the door trims and kickplates.
