Audi is reportedly considering an expansion to its China-only line-up with a new Allroad version of the RS 6 Avant.
Germany’s Autobild reports that the new model could launch as early as next year, bringing the usual Allroad features such as increased ride-height, protective cladding around the wheel arches and underbody along with all-wheel-drive.
Power would come from the same 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine as used in the Avant, delivering 445kW and 700Nm and likely matched with an eight-speed automatic.
In the ‘regular’ Avant, the RS 6 can hit 100km/h from rest in a spritely 3.7 seconds, with fuel consumption rated at 9.7 l/100km.
