Audi has revealed it will soon introduce a new compact SUV below the small Q3, at last confirming reports that stretch back to 2010.
As expected, the new model will be known as the Q1, and production is set to begin at Audi's Ingolstadt plant in 2016.
Audi has yet to confirm when it will reveal the A1's jacked-up twin, although next year's Geneva Motor Show is a likely venue.
