Audi has introduced a new special-edition version of its A5 Coupe in Australia this week, in the form of the S Line Competition model.
Based on the 2.0 TFSI quattro all-wheel-drive model, the new S Line Competition adds a number of extras to bring the coupe’s look and feel closer to the more powerful S5 model.
Features added to the new special include Audi’s S Line sports styling kit inside and out, along with sports suspension and big 20-inch alloys in a titanium finish.
There’s also an Alcantara and leather trim to the seats, leather arm rests and contrasting stitching throughout, along with gloss black highlights in the cabin and on the body.
The enhancements are rounded out with a ‘duck tail’ spoiler on the boot lid, aluminium-look pedals inside and tinted windows.
Features already standard with the 2.0 TFSI model include xenon headlights, navigation with 20gb hard drive and voice control, a parking system with rear camera, keyless entry and start, and three-zone climate control.
Power is provided by the same 165kW/350Nm 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine that drives the regular model.
Six-speed manual and S Tronic seven-speed auto transmissions are available, and Audi says the auto will get you to 100km/h in 6.4 seconds.
PRICING (excludes on-road costs)
Limited to 50 cars, the A5 S Line Competition is priced at $83,300 in manual form and $85,200 for the auto.
