Audi A3 Named 2014 World Car Of The Year

The results are in: In an all-German affair, Audi’s new A3 range has been declared the 2014 World Car of the Year.

Announced at this week’s New York Auto Show, the A3 beat out Mazda’s stellar new 3 hatch and sedan, along with the first-ever BMW 4 Series.

The A3’s victory brings special significance for Audi, with the larger A6 the first winner of the prize in its inaugural year of 2005.
