Pictures and details of Aston Martin's new V12 topless tourer, likely to be known as the Vantage Roadster or Vantage Volante, have surfaced online this week.
The loot appeared on a dedicated V12 Vantage Roadster fan-website, which appears to be owned by a prospective owner. The website describes the car as 'official,' although Aston has yet to confirm its coming.
The limited-run V12 convertible will reportedly begin production at the end of 2012 and run for nine months until the 101st and final machine rolls off the line.
The website claims the cars are being offered to a select group of clients, with rumoured pricing of £150,000 (approximately AU$230,000).
To cope with the extra weight imposed by the loss of the roof, the rear suspension is said to have been modified, along with the boot lid and rear spoiler, to accommodate the folding fabric roof.
The front quarter panels have carbon fibre strakes; the huge wheels tucked underneath are a new design of forged alloys.
