Aston Martin has unveiled its newest limited edition models of the Vantage coupe, celebrating the brand’s association with Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing ahead of the 2017 F1 season opener in Melbourne in March.

The Red Bull Racing Edition treatment adds Mariana Blue paint in a choice of gloss or satin finish with red highlights on the grille and side blades, plus yellow brake calipers for a look inspired by the Red Bull Racing F1 cars. There's an optional Tungsten Silver paint if you want to be a bit different.

There's also a race-inspired carbon fibre rear diffuser and front splitter to improve its downforce and road holding.

The Red Bull Edition cars will be available with either a 4.7-litre V8 in the Vantage S or a 6.0-litre V12 shoehorned under the bonnet of the Vantage V12 S.

Buyers will also have their vehicle sills and final inspection panels signed by either Daniel Ricciardo or Max Verstappen, of their choosing.

Inside the two-seater cockpit, the headrests feature the Red Bull Racing logo embroidered on them while the seats have a diamond-quilted pattern, the steering wheel is covered in Alcantara with a 12 o'clock racing stripe at the top and the dash is highlighted with carbon fibre trim.

“Motorsport is and will always be a key part of Aston Martin’s DNA and both the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions bring that ethos straight to our customers,” Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer said.

With the 2017 FIA Formula 1 World Championship set to begin soon, I hope that the purchase of these models will bring the racing season that little bit closer for those lucky few customers who can’t wait for it to begin”.

Australian customers have been given top priority for the Vantage V8 S Red Bull models, which cost from $259,995 driveaway and will be available in showrooms soon after the Grand Prix, which is on March 26.
