Aston Martin has rolled out a wild new concept this week, designed to celebrated the company's 100th birthday.

Dubbed CC100 Speedster - 'Concept Car 100 years' - the topless tracker is a one-off showcar inspired by the 1959 DBR1 race car.

Sir Stirling Moss drove a DBR1 to victory in a 1000km race at the Nurburgring, and both cars made a lap of the circuit this weekend.

The product of six months work at Aston's Gaydon headquarters, the concept is primarily a showpiece, but may also point to a future styling direction.
