Aston Martin Adds Twin Turbo V8 To DB11 Lineup

Aston Martin has unveiled a new variant of the DB11 coupe, replacing the ‘regular’ DB11’s twin turbo V12 engine for a smaller twin turbo V8 courtesy of the British automaker’s Daimler ties.

The announcement comes ahead of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will host the new model’s first public debut, though ultimately the new model is specifically targeted at markets like China where road taxes are tied to engine displacement.
