ANCAP: 5 Star Safety For Volkswagen Polo, Lexus IS And CT 200h

The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) has handed out 5-star safety ratings to all models in its latest round of crash testing.

The Volkswagen Polo, Lexus IS and Lexus CT 200h all came up trumps, achieving the maximum 5-star safety rating. 

For Volkswagen, its Polo light car maintained its 5-star rating from 2010 in an updated model that will arrive in showrooms shortly.

The 2014 Polo was first unveiled in January, adding Post-Collision Braking System as standard equipment along with Driver Alert and Front Assist with City Emergency Braking and Automatic Cruise Control as optional extras.
