French carmaker Alpine has teased its entry for the Gran Turismo Vision game, through a group of images released on Twitter.
Called the Stylistic 2, the concept is a radically-styled four-wheel racer shown in three pictures that all focus on the rear of the car.
Why the rear?
The car has a pivot-point mounted near the top of the rear subsection, meaning the entire rear end can swivel independently.

Such a feature could mean the Stylistic 2 is something of a hairpin bend specialist, although Alpine hasn’t revealed its reasoning for the rear design just yet.
Alpine’s Vision GT design is still in the developmental stages, but it’s unlikely a feature as ‘different’ as a swivelling rear subsection will be deleted from the final design.
The Alpine Stylistic 2 joins Toyota’s FT-1, the Aston Martin DP-100 and Nissan’s Concept 2020 as recent entries for the Gran Turismo game.
