Subaru has confirmed that its all-new 2015 Liberty, revealed in February, will hit the Australian market in January.
Arriving in sedan form only, the new Liberty will be joined by the jacked-up Outback wagon later in 2015 as part of the brand’s new ‘sedan + SUV’ strategy.
Fans of conventional wagons may not go without forever, however, with Subaru Australia known to be pressuring the home office for a local launch of the smaller Levorg wagon.
As for the new Liberty, we can expect another increase in size, following the outgoing fifth-generation model’s leap to a 2750mm wheelbase - a significant increase over the fourth generation’s 2670mm base.
