Alfa Romeo Details 4C Production

Alfa Romeo's promotional campaign for its upcoming 4C sports car continues this week, with details of the hot coupe's production process. 

Much is already known about the 4C, of course. Power is provided by a mid-mounted 176kW and 350Nm 1.75 litre turbocharged engine matched to a dual-clutch transmission, promising a 0-100km/h time of just 4.5 seconds. 

The new coupe is made with liberal amounts of aluminium, sheet-moulding compound, carbon fibre and high-tensile steel, and Alfa promises a dry weight of just 895kg - making for a 4kg/hp power-to-weight ratio.
