Alfa Romeo 4C To Lap Phillip Island For World Superbike Opener

Alfa Romeo’s heroic new 4C coupe will make its Australian debut at Phillip Island this weekend, the company has confirmed.

Appearing ahead of its local sales launch, the 180kW 4C will act as safety car for the opening round of the 2014 World Superbike Championship.

The 4C was originally expected to hit Australian showrooms in the second quarter, but Alfa Romeo’s local office has now scheduled a late 2014 launch. Exact timing is still to be confirmed.
