ALFA ROMEO 4C ROADSTER
According to Italian website 0-100.it, Alfa insiders have confirmed plans for a 4C Roadster concept, potentially previewing a new production variant.
More, the concept will reportedly debut a new headlight design, doing away with the bugeye look of the production coupe’s lights and going closer to the original concept’s look.
A new design for the roadster’s wheels will also help to set the concept apart from its coupe stablemate, the report adds.
If a droptop 4C does appear in Geneva next week, it will follow the coupe’s concept unveiling at the same event back in 2011.
Talk of a 4C roadster has been circulating since the hardtop first appeared, but such a model has yet to surface.
Still, with the 4C coupe’s production numbers limited to just 3500 per year, it remains to be seen if Alfa can make room for a second variant in the line-up.
