Alfa Romeo and design house Pininfarina have today unveiled the 2uettottanta at the Geneva Motor Show, commemorating 100 years for the Italian carmaker and 80 years for Pininfarina.

According to Pininfarina, the 2uettottanta was designed to appeal to "those looking for a mixture of vanity, entertainment and the pleasure of life in the open air".

Its name and style inspired by the classic Duetto, the 2uettottanta concept is a two-seater, measuring 1797mm wide, 4212.6mm long and 1280mm tall, riding on a 2500mm wheelbase.

In terms of competitors, the 2uettottanta's measurements put it up against the likes of the BMW Z4 and the Mercedes-Benz SLK.

While the 2uettottanta concept is not fitted with an engine, Pininfarina "proposes" that a 1.7 litre turbo-charged engine, fitted longitudinally, would be the perfect ingredient to complete the recipe.
