If Honda's Acura arm ever moves to tackle Toyota's Lexus and Nissan's Infiniti here in Australia, you can bet the new NSX flagship would lead the way.

Revealed at last year's Detroit Auto Show, the NSX has returned to Motown this week with a subtle styling tweak and, at last, a complete interior.

Dubbed 'NSX Concept II', the madeover coupe gets a reworked face with a wider and de-blinged grille, along with a similarly subtle smoothing out at the rear.

In the cabin, the NSX is all-supercar, featuring a high-rising centre console, a mix of leather and suede trim, and a large screen in place of the traditional instuments behind the steering wheel.

Mechanically the concept remains unchanged, with power derived from a mid-mounted naturally-aspirated V6 engine and a set of electric motors - one at each wheel for all-wheel-drive grip.
